NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WHNT) – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is looking for a Huntsville man accused of sexual assault involving an infant.

The man, Anthony Dean Blackwell, 24, is charged with one count of rape of a baby. His last known address is 3012 Johnson Road, Huntsville, AL.

The TBI and Pulaski Police say Blackwell was babysitting a 4-month-old baby at a home in Pulaski recently. When the child’s mother returned home, she noticed signs of trauma to the child. Police say the mother immediately took the child to a hospital. The infant underwent surgery at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.
Blackwell is a white male. He has brown hair and blue eyes, is 6’, weighs approximately 225 pounds and has a tattoo on his right arm.
Blackwell has a criminal record with charges including public intoxication, reckless driving, evading arrest, vandalism, traffic and noise violations, and driving under the influence. He has been arrested in Pulaski as well as Maury County, TN.
